Do most OBGYN perform abortions?!
Question: All OB/GYNs are trained to perform the procedure involved with a pregnancy termination. The procedure is called a D&C, and medically it is the same procedure you would have if you were suffering a miscarriage. However, it is an individual doctor's choice whether they wish to perform an elective pregnancy termination. If you are pregnant and do not want to be and you have a relationship with your ob/gyn, just ask. If your doctor does not, sometimes they can refer you to another private practitioner who provides the service. Sometimes, you just have to go to a clinic. Hope this helps.

If they're medically necessary. For an elective you'd have to find an abortion clinic.
This is not a usual practice for a reg OBGYN. As the other answer stated. Only in a life threatening case will they do it. If it is an elective case you will need to go to an abortion clinic.
