Is stress changing my cycle?!

Question: I'm 14 and have had my period about 3 years, now in those 3 years I have never skipped a period but it is almost the end of the month and I haven't started yet. I have never had my period in the same amount of days every month. Why hasn't it come? I'm a virgin/ not on the pill. should I worry?
My finals are this week (I'm a freshmen in high school) I am worried about them could this be the cause?

Darling, don't worry too much. Your body is still developing a regular menstrual routine. Stress is DEFINITELY a factor in menstruating... It's all hormonal. When you're stressed/depressed you can either be really late or really early. And a lot of times you'll have really bad cramps too. I would wait another couple of weeks and if you don't get it than go to a doctor.

Stress can cause a change in your cycle. For me, it usually causes it to come early, but for other people, it can come late. If you don't get it by the time the next one is due, you might want to check with a doctor.

probably yes
