Feel sick after brushing teeth?!

Question: okies well this morning when i brushed my teeth i almost vomited, this is the first time ever it has happened, i had to wash my mouth and drink water and then juice cause i had to get the taste out of my mouth.

whats could of caused it ? i didnt go to deep and its the same toothpaste brand i've been using forever lol.

I've also realised today later on my day i have been very senstive to smell, the perfume of some woman's made me feel sick, and also the smell of foundation (im a beauty therapist)

what could be happening?

Very possible you're pregnant. I became very smell sensitive and some things made me really nauseous.

its possible youre knocked up buddy! Congratualtions!

You are having physiological responses to your environment. This means that your body is reacting to a subconscious thought.

sounds like exactly what happened with my first pregnancy. the throwing up when brushing my teeth (i actually thought i was allergic to my toothpaste, but unfortunately, i wasn't) get checked out.

i dont know whats happening to you but its happened to me as well and i know im not pregnant. so i bet you arnt either.

it happened really sudenly to me as well. just out of the blue with the toothpaste ive been using for the past two years.

it happens morning and night and it got to the point where i would only brush my teeth once a day instead of twice cuz i didnt like throwing up. but its gotten better... just dont brush your teeth as long. maybe brushing less hard would help. i use an electic toothbrush so maybe that had something to do with it.

maybe your eating really late so when you wake up in the morning you throw up because of the extra stomach acid in your stomach. i stopped eating late and this helped me a little bit.

im still having the problem but its not as bad. ill be checking to see what others say lol. i want to stop this too!

i actually threw up while talking on the phone to a friend. she made me laugh and i threw up. her mom is a nurse and said that maybe i have an over sensitive gag reflex which could also be the case with you.

it sounds like you are pregnant, this was same with me on my first child. i started to dread brushing my teeth. best of luck
