Help, hormones out of control??!
Question: My hormones are completley out of control. I am a mess. I am gaining weight I never gained before. I have severe mood swings. I feel depressed. I am breaking out. I am losing all motivation. It is a battle everyday for me.
I am going to get laperoscopy surgery done in a few weeks. My doctor siad I may have endometriosis. If so, what will happen, can it be cured? Will I go back to my normal self??

Endo surgery (Lap with excision/cutting out of Endo) should be done by an Endometriosis Specialist. "Regular" OB/GYN's often cause a great deal of harm (unknowingly) because they lack the specific skills in locating, reaching, and completely cutting out & clearing the margins. "Regular" OB/GYN's botch it up ALL THE TIME.
Have you had an Endocrinology work-up? An Endocrinologist would be able to decipher the precise imbalances.
I've actually never heard of a physician suggesting Endo based on hormones. Its normally eyelid-curling pain.
Well i sure do wish you the best of luck and good health. I was a hormonal wreck coming out of a medication-induced menapause. Hot oil baths and a cup of camomille tea seemed to help me. Or a glass of pinot noir.
you could be stressing out know that you're about to have surgery.. but before you have your procedure done check with your doctor to make sure its nothing serious
You need to go on the pill. This will stabilise your hormones.
