After u guys shave down there is it itchy and stuff??!

Question: Here's some tips on reducing irritation from shaving. If you follow them all and still have problems, you may be one of the types of people who is not able to shave without irritation. Everyone is different and some people find they merely can shave without problems.

1. Use new and decent razors. I once made the mistake of buying cheap, generic razors thinking "how can razors have that much difference in quality?". Well, they can. So make sure you're buying brand name razors and use ones with at least 2 blades, if not 3.

2. Always use shaving cream. Sounds like an obvious one but when I run out of shaving cream and haven't bought more yet, I've been known to shave my legs with soap. It leaves them itchy but it's tolerable on legs, it wouldn't be tolerable on more sensitive areas.

3. Use shaving cream for sensitive skin, preferably unscented. Sometimes the fragrance can be irritating to the skin.

4. First shave with the "grain" (the direction the hairs lay). If tolerable, then shave against the "grain". Some people may find they can't shave against the grain at all. Shaving with the grain doesn't get as close of a shave but it's less irritating.

5.After shaving, apply some lubricant. Avoid regular lotions since they are not made for genital use. Vaseline or baby oil is a good choice (though put a pantyliner on as it might stain your undies).

If you've done all that and still find yourself itchy or irritated I suggest the only solution is to not shave.

yeah it because it fresh hair that is stong

after you shave down there is it itchy and stuff?

it doesnt itch but it feels cleaner and the girls like that bettre...most of them
by the way why would u care

it's only itchy if you let it grow back, if you shave it like every 3 days like when you do your legs it's not a problem.

I only shave my sack and crack... and trim the uppers. if you want to start I'd suggest doing the same thing, like only around your lips and butt. That's the most important areas anyway and the upper is where most razor burn will happen if it does.

Just do the undercarriage, get used to / comfortable with that then move on to everything if you want

yes! I hope you used shaving cream cause I find it helps stop the itch. But also put on some alo vera it will make it feel better.

No, not usually. I use an electric trimmer and shaver and never get razor burn. When I first started shaving and when I wetshave I get some razor burn. A little hydrocort ointment right after shaving will generally prevent any problem. I had a lot of itching with hair, all the time for most of my life. The ends of the hairs tickled me all the time. With a shaver that cuts flush to the skin you don't get ingrown hairs either. With cleanliness I don't get infected follicles either. Those can itch too. An antibiotic ointment takes care of that quickly.

It did until I got it waxed

I have heard that both "Coochie Cream" and "Bikini Zone" have shave gel that includes lotion. Coochie also has an after-shave mist for down there to reduce razor burn.
