Question: Ok I don't have my period... yet.
But I have had some whiteish stuff in my underwear.
ANd today I had some browish stuff
I think I have my period.
But if I do, I don't have any oads, and I live with my dad so it's a little embarrassing.

im 13 and i just started my period.... it started out with whiteish stuff in my panties and thten i got a big brown spot....... later that day there was blood in my underwear...
and you can get pads from jsut about any store like walmart or somewhere else...

yes that is deffintaly ur period...u can get pads like any where, the grohcery store, cvs, brooks, right aid...hope this helps good luck
Well wether u like it or not...... that wasnt ur period. That was discharge. I would get them at walmart. But please tell ur dad because men sometimes know more bout periods than some girls!
That whiteish stuff is a sign of you getting your period, and the brownish stuff, is probly poo =D and besides about your dad, just be like Hey dad, i got my period really casualy and its not like he cares and if you really are embarrased maybe a cousin aunt or sister? Get pads from one of your friends or somebody who already had theirs.

yea, thats discharge, not your period. that could last a few days or a couple months. but you will most likely get it rather soon. just be prepared! you can pretty much buy pads or tampons at any store. grocery stores, target, drug stores, anywhere! you should tell your dad, he will be very understanding but maybe wait until it actually starts, unless you want him to buy pads with you.

You say you don't have any pads? Well just walk about to the store where you buy your food and shopping needs and buy them in the health section near like the deoderants and other health things.
Also tell your dad that you need to get some 'feminine products' he is going to find out by the pads in the bin because where else are you going to put them.
Just be calm and dont worry he know's about periods trust me my dad did, he found out from my mum.. freaky stuff LOL.
Try not to be too embarrassed about it, just act normal.

The white stuff you see in your underwear is a vaginal discharge. You usually get it a year or so before you start to menstruate and lasts for most of your adult life. You can wear a pantyliner to protect your underwear.
As for the brown stuff that you saw.. the blood is really brown. It's just very old uterus lining that's been waiting for you to hit puberty so it can shed.
You can buy pads and pantyliners anywhere. You can go to target or something or even just your local gas station. It should have some small packs of pads or pantyliners.

thats what i had too,
the browness is just old blood, and itll lighten up after a while
go buy the always "liners" for the thin days, and by the always ones in pink packages for bed and for the heavier days

Get pads at like Walmart, food lion, or some super market. I think you have your period. Be careful, to avoid infections.
