They say change it every 3 or 4 hours, but it depends on your flow. I used to change mine every hour. Now it's every couple of hours.
Also, when I was younger I used to have a really heavy flow. My mum told me to put toilet paper over the pad, so that we didn't run out of pads too fast.

cool

About 3-4 hours... and when you tell your mom (which I just did) be prepared for a "wow! and all.." lol

Every few hours. They have instructions on them as well.

It is different for everyone. It depends on how much you are bleeding. You will know when it needs to be changed. These things come natural to us women.

is this ur first time??? if so go tell ur mom that u need pads cause u started ur period. some ppl think its hard and embarrasing but its really easy to talk to her

until u get pads, put toilet paper in your undies

good luck

about every 3-4 hours or if it smells bad between those hours or if it looks like you need to change it

You should tell someone that you feel comfortable with. Clean yourself often with babywipes or a washcloth and change your pad every 3-5 hours depending on how heavy your flow is. Congratulations sweetie!

I just got mine bout 2 weeks ago. I would buy kotex prewrapped regular pads. They have less of a diaper feel. Change them about every 3-4 hrs. At school I change mine right before I get the bus, at lunch, maybe during study hall, and right when I get home. But after 3 days you only have to change it ocasionally

u must change it from 4-6 hours also it depend on the
level of blood flows

when you need to. every few hours. but, it depends if your flow is heavy or light. check it every now and then.

wel,
i just got myne friday
and fortunate for me
theres all girls except dad

but, you should change it every 2-4 hours
every 2 hours is abbout how many times i do unless theres next to nothing in the pad
also , try to change it a good ammount of times, because sometimes you will get odor

welcome to adult hood:)

change every 3-4 hours

Congrats the brownish stuff is your period!

Well change the pad every 2-3 hours. If it is really heavy maybe change it every 1 hour.
Usually its not too heavy on your first period.
Just go to the store and buy some pads you need them and fast!
If you can't get them soon then swab up toilet paper, but the only bad thing about toilet paper is you have to keep changing it, also roll up a small face washing towl and put that in your undies for a temporary thing, you'll have to wash it but that should be better than toilet paper at least.

But you will need to get pads so i suggest you ask maybe a nanna or close friend if there is no women in the house besides you to buy you some pads.

Hope i helped you :]

Change your pad as often as you need to. if your flow is really heavy you will need to change it more often(every 1-2 hours) if it is meduim flow you can change it every 3-5 hours and if it is really light then every 8 hours about. Dont leave it on for to long because it is really easy to get an infection/rash/iratation. of course at night i would recomend the overnight pads but the regular/heavy ones are fine as long as you wake up and change it in the middle of the night. Anyway i would go out and get some pads as soon as you can because toliet paper is only good for so long. Good luck.

Ugh. Being the only girl must suck. Anyway, about 3-4 hours. Maybe earlier if you're flow is real heavy. You shouldn't wait more than 5 hours to change it. That can be dangerous. And when you start wearing tampons, you should change them more often, everytime you use the bathroom, or about 2-3 hours. Hope this helped! =]]

Maybe about three to four hours. Or, change the pad every time you use the restroom. That's what my mom does.
