Raping=Higher Female Sex-Drive?!

Question: Women are torn apart menatally and physically through rape. It transforms them. It appears to me- the women I have came across that have been raped (as a virgin) end up craving men more than most. It seems that a sex-demon inside them is summoned. Is there some sort of logical explanation for this? Does anyone else notice the same thing?

I'm exactly where you are now. I came from a horrible home where the entire family sexually abused me and any other children in the family.

My husband doesn't know what to do with me anymore, as my sex drive is so high.

My therapist tells me that this is because I'm trying to turn a sexual life into something positive, rather than something heartbreaking and scary. I try to make up for it with positive moments, over and over again.

First off, you are an idiot for even having to ask this. I'm hoping you're not serious but just in case....

A woman who was raped doesn't "crave men" afterwards. They generally have to go through years of therapy just to be "normal" in their relationships.. A lot of women will lose their self-respect bc of getting raped (esp if it was as a virgin) and will lash out either at themselves or at others.

There is no "sex demon" awakened in them.

yeah, i notice it.

perhaps since they were raped, they feel that theyre worthless, or theyre trash, and since they were used then, they feel they souldnt waste their time not doing it now. i dunno.

"A sex demon inside them is summoned?" Are you serious? You obviously know nothing about women, or rape, and therefor shouldn't be asking questions about either.

Okay, this is a moronic question-- because first of all, RAPE has nothing to do with sex, it is a crime of power and control--

And NO, I do not feel that women that were raped as virgins tend to CRAVE men more-- that is just crazy.

Maybe what you are thinking of (if you are thinking) is that some women that have been raped and have not coped with it sufficiently and had counseling and support-- often become promiscuous because they have low self esteem and feel that they only way they can get "male" attention or feel "worthy" is to be sexual with someone.

I don't think it is "craving"-- that is called nymphomania-- and it happens to men and women, and has nothing to do with rape. You really need to get some education on this topic-- you are clueless.

Well, maybe sex-demon was not the best word of choice.
But I agree with him.
Why most women I've met that have experienced this are like that, I have no idea. My only guess is that ..... well to list all my guesses I would have to write a whole essay here.
So I'm just going to say they are complicated.

One big issue is that they don't seem to trust men.
Personally I don't want to have anything to do with anybody that doesn't trust me. Because without trust, there is nothing in the relationship.
Maybe they become so sexual because that is the only way for them to keep a guy around for a more long term relationship.

If I was a girl and was raped, I would never tell anybody. So maybe the ones that do let other people know what happened don't really care what other people think anymore and do whatever they want to do sexually or otherwise anyways. And the girls that are more timid and would never be a "sex demon" just never tell anyone and so everyone thinks they are good girls because this has not happened to them and that the girls that are sexually more open are like that because they had been raped when in reality they would do what they wanted anyways. And because they don't care about hiding what had happened in the past everybody knows about it and automatically thinks that what happened to them is what is making them more sexual the way they are.

So, that's just one guess.
I got many many more.
