Since your sister already told you, you can talk to her about anything I'm sure she would be delighted to discuss sex with you (she'd probably see it as a sign of trust). Furthermore, most women I know (who are relatively open minded) are very happy if I ever go to them with sexual questions because most of the times, some of the things I ask about they have experienced and would really like to discuss.
As for how to do this creativly...you might want to discuss cute guys with her. Sit down with her and watch a movie with your favorite movie-guy and start talking about how sexy you think he is. Talking about cute guys is usually a good leeway into talking about sex. It normally makes the atmosphere nice and relaxed, unless the person you are talking to is really reserved. If you're really shy and still in school you can pretend it is part of a school project, and usually that can branch off into other conversations as well.

just ask her first what she knows about it and then you correct her. because many teens now really think they know everything but they actuallt don't because they are curious.
