Question: My sister and I are really close. And I checked a book out called whats happening to my body book for girls. And theres a chapter I'd like to talk to my sister about. How can I approach her and ask her if we can talk about it?

well, first, i would think of some questions that you would like your sister to answer for you, or if you dont have any questions thats fine too. but the best approach with something that sensitive is just to come up to her in a comfortable setting and hand her the book, with the chapter marked if that is your main focus, and ask her what she thinks about it? just be forward. what do you have to loose?
Well how old is your sister? If she's around 10-12 I guess thats fine. If she is 7-9 you should wait a little. e-mail me if you want to go inot deatial about it. I'll be happy to help you! :)
well hopefully you've read the chapter first.. but start talking to her about what the chapters about.. and then be like "oh yeah, i got this book and it talks more about this...." you know? just kind of casual conversation and be like i think this may benefit you, you might be interested in reading it... leave the book with her *alone* and chances are she'll read it when your not around.
Just pick a time when your sister isn't busy and talk to her. Show her the book and the chapter you want to discuss and ask if she can talk about it with you. If she can't talk right then, ask her when she could. If she doesn't want to talk about it, don't push the issue. But I don't see why your sister wouldn't be willing to talk to you.
