Restarting birth control after pregnancy?!

Question: i was on tri-cyclen before i got pregnant. i stopped taking them in june 2006 to get pregnant and i haven't taken them since. i recently started my period december 29th (which was a saturday) and i started my pill pack on december 30th (sunday).
now, i'm in my 'placebo' week and i haven't gotten my period yet!!! i can't remember if it starts right on the first placebo sunday or throughout the placebo week.
what if i don't start my period at all this week?? should i still start my next pill pack this sunday?

you period can start anytime that placebo week, if it doesnt start then i would take a test if its neg. then take the next pill but my period used to start the third or 4th day of the placebos

My period usually starts on the 4th or 5th placebo pill..If you don't get it take a pregnancy test if its negative I'd go ahead and start a new pack..It may take a couple months for your cycle to get back to normal..

It can be anytime within the placebo week. Sometimes if you have been off the pill for a while and the start again. If will take a few months to get a normal period because the hormones have to build up in your system again.

Birth Control really messes your system up, as does pregnancy. I'm having tons of problems now since I had a baby. I'm about to get off birth control completely because I bled 3 weeks out of my pill pack which is ridiculous considering I've been taking it for almost 6 months now. I guess on birth control your period comes whenever it wants to and if you miss a pill by a day or even just a few hours is can really mess with things.
