For the ladies, do you remember when you first got your period?!
Question: how old were you? My first was when i was 13 yrs old october of 1993. I was so scared I called my mom at the her job, she was a CNA, and I asked her, "Mom im bleeding down there, and I don't know why" She didnt have a clue..lol she asked another nurse, and they told her to tell me to take a stool sample. I was very scared then I was actually gonna take a sample when my mom called back and said, don't worry about it, you've just gotten your period, and I will bring you some pads home later... I was so relieved

I was 15, and we were visiting my uncle. It's really memorable because my mom claimed the blood didn't look right, and took me to the emergency room! What a nightmare. The nurse in the e.r. was cool, at least.
I got mine when I was at home I was 12 and I had very bad cramps and my brother kept making me laugh which made it much worse - EVIL GIT!!!
I remember, I was 11, and I think it was October, too! I was sooo excited, but of course now at 17, I hate it.
12 and i was so pissed off. 13 is not uncommon and in fact is becoming normal for young girls....although not very cool!
It was the week after my 12th birthday and it was summer time. I was prepared and put on a pad and then went downstairs and told my mother who simply said "oh...expected that"

I started on the day of my 11th birthday! I had just woken up and I had to pee so when I went to wipe, there it was. My worst, and yet my best birthday ever.
i was 12 and I thought i was cool but embarrassed because i got mine at school and i didn't want to tell a teacher because it was the last day of school and we only had an hour of school so i figured i would suck it up and wait till i got home. That was a day. haha
It was the fourth of July and i was in seventh grade. I remember being so upset that i couldnt go swimming with all my cousins.
16.... so old I know :S. As far back as year when I was 10 I was checking the back of my skirt in case I had gotten it!!
So I was getting a bit worried. It's a pain in the bum... and I had the most evil cramps yesterday :(. I'm so lucky I got it sooooo late. Still 16.
i got mine when i was 12 in 2002 i was pretty calm because i had older girls around me all the time. when i woke up i went tto use the bathroom and i had a little suprise waiting for me.
i was 13 too, and I first got my period at my cuzin sleepover, i felt a lilfunny but didnt pay it no mind, and then later on i noticed a lil blood on the char i was sitting on, and I told my aunt i was bleeding and she asked me did i get my visitor yet, i didnt know what that meant but she broke it down for me some more and then i understood, she gave me the talk and a fresh pair of undies and jammies
when i first got it was when i was 11 in september i got it in the moring but i was stupid and i thought i had takne a dookie on myself so just figured it was nothing. But then at school i stared getting really bad stomach pains but at the very bottom and soo i was like whats wrong. when i came home that day i went to the bathroom and i saw my underwear and when i wiped my self i saw it red first thing i did was scream then i told my mom i had my peiod then i cried.. haha
i got mine on Christmas day in the 8th grade! it was the best Christmas present ever! NOT!
