yes that is normal. when you use it though the best thing to do is go to bed right after so its not just slipping right out of you. if your laying down it wont just come out. the medicine does have a slight odor. it will take a few days for the infection to go away so just give it some time. if in about a week your still having symptoms then you should go see your gyno cuz it might not be a yeast infection it could be any kind of infection that would take a different cream one that is prescribed

See your md, it could be a bacterial yeast infection which Monistat will NOT help.

Did you use it just before bed? If you didn't you only got part of what it can do for you. If it smells after you've done all the treatment, I would make an exception and douche with vinegar and water. They're at most all drug stores. Do not douche as a rule. It dries you out and makes you open for infections. However I know there are those exceptions for me, just like what you've got going on, where I do. That means I only do it like once every couple of years.
peace

Monistat one day and three day don't work for me. I need to do the 7 day for true relief.
