Woman's health Question?!

Question: Why do I always seem to get a really bad yeast infection right before my period?

Answers: Why do I always seem to get a really bad yeast infection right before my period?

I am no doctor, but maybe the "good bacteria" are paying more attention to the egg that is being dropped for your period and paying less attention to "bad bacteria" that might get out of hand. I agree with drinking more water. Cotton underwear and loose fitting pants might help too. If down there sweats too much it is harboring grounds for bacteria. Good luck, but when all else fails, see a doctor, don't be ashamed. You asked everyone that is on the internet the question, why not a doctor.

Are you drinking plenty of bottled water ?

Well if you get some discharge b4 your period it may be from the moisture since yeast infections grow in dark moist places. Try keeping as clean as possible, wearing panty liners (carefree, always, etc) and constantly washing. Also drink plenty of water during your period to stay 'fresh'...

It might sound strange, but your periods can be regulated by simple psychological means. Yeast infections.
Damn i dont know what they r.
sorry

It may be because your not keeping that area clean. Don't use scented soaps or anything down there. But make sure you wipe when you go to the bathroom, and keep it clean. During your period, you may even consider taking 2 showers.
