Yup. And you are one of the lucky ones. Some of my friends have 7-day periods. Anything from 3-7 days is normal. Everyone is different.

Yes quite normal especially as you have just started. It may take longer as time goes on. Get a good book on the reproductive system and you should get all the answers you need. If you cant do this ask your mom or an older female relative any thing you don't understand or are puzzled about.
Dont worry,this sounds quite normal,when i first started it also lasted 4 days but it did keep coming and going for a few months untill it sorted itself out,so just keep going you will get there.

this is fine your body has years to apapt and to be honest most people are completly differnt some last for a week and are lighter whareas some lasst for two -5 days and are heavier

You need to chat to a relative or older sister, it can put your mind at rest.You should have had the school nurse issue you with a booklet etc.

yep i think 3-7 days is the average duration.....and since it's your first one....it'll take awhile for your cycle to set itself to a regular cycle

And yes, four days is totally normal. The first few months you probably won't ovulate, and so your periods will likely be lighter than average. It will probably take quite a few months before they come at regular intervals. It takes your body a while to settle into a pattern.

yeah, some people have them like 5-8 days usually. mine only last 3-4 days usually. when i got my first one it was about 3 days long. so its normal and your lucky! :D
