Nuva ring verses the patch?!
Question: I want to hear about your experiences with each of these. Particularly if you have had a vaginal birth as I have. I am researching birth control methods. The only one I have tried is the Depo shot but I didn't like the way I felt with it. I got it six weeks after I had my baby, not sure if that had anything to do with it.

I absolutely hated the Depo shots. It made me anemic. I love the nuvaring. You can even send off for an electric "hour glass that will count off the days for you and remind you to change it out. I have never used the patch but my daughter has. It would fall off, and leave sticky stuff on her skin (like a bandaid). It just seemed like a pain to deal with. The ring is great, you don't even feel it and your man can't feel it with his equipment. It can only be felt with a finger. And don't worry about getting it out, it isn't hard and it totally cannot get lost in there.
I have not given birth. I use the pill. I have heard so many horror stories about the patch. One was that the patch has been known to cause blood clots.
Key differences: the patch gives you hormones that circulate throughout your body, while the Nuva ring hormones stay in your reproductive area to a large extent.
