Well, without using words and I hardly understand, which means you probably wouldn't either, I'll sum it up. Your hymen is basically a piece of skin around the opening to your vagina. It somewhat covers the whole, and when you have sex (sometimes masturbation, a lot of activity, or tampons can do it as well), the penis breaks it. It's painful the first time you have sex due to that, and it will bleed, but it's not unbearable. The bleeding is just tiny bits for a day or so, and then you're fine.
