When you have sex you bleed right? how long? is it a lot?!

Question: please answer this

Answers: please answer this

The first time can be painful when the hymen breaks upon penatration. There can also be some blood. Not all girls bleed (I didn't) and not all girls have pain (I had a whole lot).

The hymen is the thin membrane that sometimes covers the opening to the vagina if you're a virgin. I say "sometimes" because, even if you haven't had sex, the hymen can do a bit of a disappearing act due to an overzealous workout at the gym, horseback riding, tampons, and even passionate "heavy petting" with your boyfriend. (It's not an impenetrable barrier, anyway, as it has holes to allow menstrual blood to escape.)

For some, the first few times might make you feel sore, as it's been an unused muscle or even hurt, if you aren't properly lubericated, or if the guy is in a hurry, doesn't arouse you and your body isn't ready.

Relaxing, foreplay, being fully aroused or better yet, you having an orgasm FIRST or using a lubricant like KY-Jelly or Astro-Glide can help.

If you don't know the answer to this question, don't have sex.

Not unless it's your first time, any other bleeding is not normal, unless your on your period. See a doctor.

Are you talking about the first time? If so, not all people bleed, and if they do, it's usually very little and not long at all.

When you have sex for the right time you do bleed.... because you broke your Hymn...

Not all women bleed. If you do, it should not be a lot. Only a little.

Use a condom.

Not normally. I have had sex with many females and not one of them ever bled.

well ... for every girl it can vary, it not a tremendous amount, some may not even bleed,it's is because the hymen is broken. I'd say the first time. I didn't bleed the second time around.

no it isnt normal to bleed when having sex, unless its the first time or if your starting your period

only the first time
and on occasion...
its not bad and it doesnt last long
it shouldnt be long but everyone is
different...

all i can say is WOWWWWWWWWWW

only your first time!

If it is your first time you may bleed a bit, but not for too long may for a couple of hours. If it is not go to the doctor right away you may have a problem.

You mean your first time or everytime. I don't bleed everytime I have sex and my first time I didn't even bleed. Every woman is different not all of them bleed and some do and i'm sure its not too much. The reason you bleed is because you've broken your hymen, if you've used tampons before you had sex your first time then you most likely won't bleed.

I can't really answer this because I did not bleed on my first time

you should only bleed the first time you have sex, and maybe a little bit the second time, if you are having sex after that and still bleeding you need to see a doctor,

but your first time having sex, it depends on how thick your hymen is or if it has already broken (due to sports, etc) it can bleed just a little bit to a few tablespoons ...but you may see a bit of blood for a while after (a few hrs) but that would just be whatever is left over coming out

i didnt bleed at all... it just depends on who you are and how your body is made up. the reason why some girls bleed, is because when you have sex for the first time you hymen [cherry] tears... if it doesnt tear bad, you probably wont even notice the blood. but if you do, it will only be a few spots...

Some girls bleed a little bit first time or a few times when they have sex. It's caused from the hymen breaking which is a little "hood" on skin at the entrance to the vagina.
It's not much but can be a little scary. It'll be fine the next day...

When you have sex for the first time women generally bleed from the hyman being "broken". The amount varies from woman to woman. Some do not bleed at all if they have had injury to that area during childhood (falling on a railing, etc.). It generally doesn't last long unless trauma happened. After first-time sex the female shouldn't bleed again unless the hyman wasn't completely broken.

Typically, blood seen during sex is a result of some sort of complication. Whether it be a small abrasion, tear, or some sort of injury caused by friction or not enough lubrication.

Natural lubricant often isn't enough. And if you aren't fully aroused, that could cause complications as well.

If you experience any discomfort during sex, and you bleed, you should consider stopping or trying a different position.

If you are using enough lubrication, and not just a lubed condom (they only have a small amount on them) and are highly aroused, there should be no bleeding what so ever.

If you aren't completely aroused, try foreplay to get your mood up. If it isn't comfortable for you, you shouldn't do it.

If you bleed a lot, it could be due to an infection, STI, or other medical problem that may need immediate attention.

Also, not everyone bleeds. If they do bleed, its because they weren't fully aroused or didnt use lube. Bleeding isn't supposed to be "normal" in sex. And it doesn't mean you broke your hymen. Your hymen wears away over time.. It is outside of your vagina so the old "popping the cherry" saying is bogus. Tampon application, foreplay, and other factors wear this small peice of skin away. And most people who bleed their first time is simply because they didnt use enough lubrication, wasn't relaxed enough, or wasn't fully aroused.

Its easy to get nervous for the first few times or even the first time with a new partner. Just remember to relax, try foreplay, and add a little extra lube.

Only for the first time, the tearing of your hymen. (you could tear your hymen during sports thought)
How much and how long depends on the thickness of your hymen. If you're standing, the blood should only take a few seconds to finish.

If you are really young I would really advise you not to have sex especially if you are asking a question like this. But I will answer it for you anyway. Yes, most virgin girls do bleed, some happen to not. The ones that do bleed only bleed about a quarter size (25 cents) maybe a lil more but not a lottt.
