First time using a tampon?!

Question: I've always used pads but finally decided to use tampons because I know they're so much cleaner. However, while it didn't hurt at all, I still feel it a bit, is it because I didn't put it in far enough? When I looked, it was all the way inside and I could just see the string but still, am I supposed to feel just a little at first? I'm afraid it'll just pop out or something..

I don't think you put it in all of the way. Just wash your hands and push it in a little bit more. It won't pop out, they are designed to stay in place. When I first put it in, I could feel it a bit, but it goes away after a while.

just push it up a little higher. still feeling it means it's not all the way up.

shove that puppy all the way in there, you can't put it in too far, and shave, it's cleaner too

here's to trying new things! *klink*

If you can feel it, it's not in correctly. Try using the slender fit tampons. In the meantime, just remove the one you're using and try again. You can put a little water or KY Jelly on the applicator to make it slide in better.

you shouldn't feel the tampon inside at all. and no the tampon won't "pop out". don't worry.
you probably feel a little bit of the tampon because of ur hymen. either that, or you still didn't push it far enough. just push it as far as itll go. if you still feel the tampon, even juss a little bit, then its ur hymen. and thats normal. you can probably go to the gyno to help stretch ur hymen a little without breaking it. doing this will make the tampon feel more comfortable inside.

hope this helps...^.^
