Hypenoptomy/hymenectomy?!
Question: I am 17 years old and I have constantly been trying tampons every period for the past 2 years. Only the smallest kind fits and it hurts when i walk around. I went to the obgyn about 7 months ago because of it and she inserted one for me because she thought was doing it wrong but i wasnt it still hurts. now i am thinking about a hymenectomy or hymenoptomy. would someone share their expeirences with either one of those procedures as in the basics. also, when they do the surgery can they make your hole bigger? i know that sounds gross but i think thats part of my problem, i am a virgin. please dont tell me to keep trying tampons, because i have been long enough and i am tired of riding the cotton pony i need this problem fixed.

I believe a hymenectomy is where they reattach your hymen. It's for women who want their "virginity" back. I would ask your doctor how the procedure you're talking about works and if she'd be willing to do it.
