perhaps you were and it was reabsorbed. It happens very often. If so, you are probably headed for a wopper of a period. If the doctor says the test is negative (for pregnancy) than it must be true. the weight can be water weight and the build up of the lining of the uterus to support the baby, which no longer needs it. I am very sorry. if you were actually pregnant, the good news is that you can get pregnant and you will again. If the baby stopped growing it was because something was wrong and it was not viable. it is sad, but obviously that is what nature, or god, or whatever you believe in thought was best. Perhaps your doctor can give you more information? There is also something called a hysterical pregnancy. I don't know how far along you thought you were, but if someone wants it so badly, their body's can react a certain way. It is just an emotional thing, I am not insulting you saying you are hysterical- that is just the terminology. Anyway, I do think getting more answers from your doctor would be helpful for you. good luck.
