A doctor who won't allow this is a doctor who I wouldn't want to be associated with. I think your boyfriend wanting to come in and ask questions is very mature. It shows that he is concerned about your health.

I can't see why the doctors would not let him come too.

I wouldn't want my husband in there when I was getting a pap smear or anything to personal. But if you are just going to talk with the doctor there is no reason why he cant go with you.

yes he can, often men and boyfriends are present during pap exams and sometimes the doctors will allow him to see the area as the pap is being done at least in the clinic where I worked they did but it is uncomfortable for some it was for me so. but i didn't mind my husband being in the room. it's actually good to bring someone with you especially if there is a male doctor doing the pap. most places require a female nurse in the room with the doctor while the pap is being done.

Most docs will be happy to see a couple come in and ask questions. They may not want him in there for the exam but just let the nurse or doc know that you both have questions that you want to ask and they will let him come in for that

Cool, I fooled around with my girlfriend while she was in the hospital.

My friend wanted me to come with her because she was scared. It was weird, but that's what friends are for.

Yes he can i always go in with my wife for everything, husbands can be there for child birth whats the big deal about a pelvic exam.
