Why is my period a week late?!
Question: My period will be a week late tomorrow. I haven't had my period since the week before Christmas. About three or four days ago I felt like it was going to come but it hasn't so I think that maybe that was in my head because I was expecting it. I am not on any form of birth control because my boyfriend had a vasectomy 3-4 years ago. We have been together 1.5 years - unprotected for 8 months. I have always been regular for the most part. Could it be stress? I've been stressed but really no more than normal. What else could be going on to make my period late?

probably stress, the holidays can do that to you.
it could be stress, but you could just be getting it late. periods don't always come when we expect them to.
its stress it will come if it doesnt then see a dr but i am sure it will
My mother is always stressed and hers is 2 weeks late. Stress can contribute. But just to be safe, I would spend the $10-$20 and take a preganancy test. After 3-4 weeks, go see your doctor. Many different simple contributers such as weight, stress, or maybe an early menopause could be going on, but it's good to check with you doc incase of something serious.
is your weight fluctuating a lot?
cause that has a lot to do with it.
You might have an ovarian cyst...
That happen to me, it made my period 2 weeks late...

Did you say Christmas? Geez that alone put enough stress on me... LOL this could be a cause also. Well, vasectomys are not always 100% either so maybe if you do not get it in a week I would just go and get a test to see if there may be a little one to plan for.....sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear.. good luck
