Could I have a UTI?!
Question: Whenever I use the restroom and my bladder is almost empty I get this painful burning sensation. Also, it usually hurts the worst in the morning when I wake up and that is usually when it has a strong odor. Is this a UTI or is it something else? I've never had this problem before, until after I got married and started having sex.

Yes it is my dear! Having sex increases the possibility of having UTI during your intercourse you are exposed to a lot of bacteria. The best deal to fight againts this is proper hygiene and after intercouse go to the CR and pee then wash. Also increase your dosage of liquids and supplements with cranberry pills, this is a great supplement.
Seems like UTI to me. When someone stayed virgin for a long time and then engages in sex have high chances for UTI. Strange..
Yes, I would call your Dr. and give them a speciman of urine and they can tell in an hour if you'll need medication. If you wait you will eventually bleed and that's even more painful at the end of urination.
there should be this thing available over the counter in pharmacies. they go by many names & are usually available in satchets. urinary alkalisers. usually about 4g per satchet.
mix with water and drink immediately. helps take the pain away.
however if it persists even after 4 sachets or so, see a doc cos you'll need antibiotics
& pee/wash after sex. flushes the bacteria out of your urinary tract.

It could be a UTI or it could be cystitis. To be sure you should see a doctor and het a urine test. Cystitis is very common in women who have just become sexually active but if left untreated it can become a UTI. Make an appointment with your doctor for a urine test.

I have had many UTI's and the best advice is to drink loads of water and take cranberry extract. Don't buy cystitis relief, you can take stomach setlers like alka setlzer - these really help and have the same ingredients but cheaper than the cysitis tablets.
Only wear cotton underwear and avoid spicy food. If you sting atfer going to the loo, you can put a little salt in a jug of water and dab it on - it eases the pain.
If after a week you still have the symptoms and you've been doing all these things each day then see a doctor for some antibiotoics.
