Your going to get your period super soon! This is what happened to me. Welcome to woman-hood! Make sure to tell your mom when it happens so she doesent feel 'left out', I didnt tell my mom and she still brings it up! However, if it doesent go away within a month or two---see a doctor. You should probably bring this up with your mother as well. Dont be emberassed *easier said than done i know* but she has probably been looking forward to this day! good luck =)

Brown discharge could be the beginning of your period. White discharge is pretty normal before menstruation starts, but I remember that my period was brownish when I first got it, and it was an extremely light flow.

eeeewwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It means your going to have one soon.

soon, grasshopper, soon. Nothin to worry about, yur just doing the womanly thing of ALWAYS needing a pantyliner. Your body needs to prepare for that, just like ours did.

if you are 13 u getting ready to start

There are two types of related discharge:

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

For you, because of your age and the fact that you have not yet had a period, this is just your body preparing itself for menstruation.
