How would you know if you had an ovarian cyst?!

Question: I am experiencing random pains in my uterus (at least thats what it feels like) and I'm not sure what it is.

Please don't tell me to see a doctor, thats next week.

oh Lord - I get them, they can hurt. it kinda feels like really bad period cramps. the only REAL way to know is to see your doctor, so nice work on already scheduling that. but it helps if you take a couple motrin, and keep a heating pad on it when you can. it doesnt take it away, but it relaxes you - which is important in lessening the pain. good luck!

There maybe abdominal pain, irregular bleeding, swelling of the abdomen, nausea, fever.

the ovarys are above the uterus so if you had ovarian cysts it would be more to the top sides. i have them and know how painful they are, so if you are concerned that you have them all you can do is wait until you see your dr. look up on the nhs website for the symptoms and if you have them youll know what to expect. but the sooner its diagnosed the better as you can get help for it. the pains in your uterus can be caused by all sorts of reasons, i get them there due to a gap of blood where there shouldnt even be a gap so you wont know for definate until you have a scan which is what i had to confirm it, and dont go by other peoples problems as it will be different for everyone.

When I had one, I had a pain in my right side, it really wasn't that bad, but I went to the hospital on a doctors request because they thought it might me appendicitis. Some girls puke or are like doubling over in pain, but not me. The pain would be in your right or left side, where your ovaries are.
