There is a method called the calendar method, but it is not 100% effective. You are the most fertile after you ovulate for around 2 days, however ovulation can occur anytime throughout the month (but usually two weeks before your next period). The reason it can occur anytime is that stress can cause you to ovulate twice in a month. You need to understand how your body works and it's cycles to correctly predict when you are ovulating. This is plotted on a chart in conjunction with your temperature. If your vaginal fluid is stringy then you are at your most fertile. But seek professional advice.

Alway use a condon though - it protects from pregnancy and STD's.

there's no such time, theres always a chance

There's a "slim" chance. But why would you want to chance that? --Slim meaning you might not.

there is no time when you are infertile..you can get pregnant at any time.

just use a condom so u don't have to worry about anything.

No, there is no certain time. It is always possible. Don't chance it, just buy some fecking condoms or get on birth control. Or both..

There really isn't any time that you are "infertile." You can get pregnant at any time. And really, sex without protection is a bad idea because condoms can help in preventing STDs.

Unless you are very into natural family planning and understand your cycle well enough, I wouldn't recommend risking it. Even people who have done it for years still have errors and get pregnant. The rate of pregnancy over a year is 6-25%. Those are pretty scary stats if you ask me.

none, zip, nada, the responsible thing to do is not have any until your ready. Because if your asking these questions that means your not. Having sex w/o protection is very stupid PERIOD. UNLESS YOUR MARRIED, BECAUSE YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF THE OTHER PERSON WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH! BUT IF YOUR MARRIED OF IN A COMMIT ED RELATIONSHIP THEN YOU SHOULD TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR OPTIONS. THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED BIRTH CONTROL THAT PREVENTS ACCIDENTS.

there are certain days on your cycle [being btw. periods] that women are less likely to become pregnant. but still that doesnt mean to have sex without protection because they can still get pregnant on these days and std's can always be transmitted.

Yes, you can always get pregnant. However, there are times when it is more likely and less likely. When your period is very regular, there is a "fertile window" when you are most likely to get pregnant (i.e., just before you ovulate on or around Day 14). But if you are a teenager, this time frame is less dependable, and you could ovulate anytime, including during your period. This really does happen to people. It's just so risky that people don't advise you to chance it.

Protection at all times is best. A condom will protect you from more than getting pregnant. There are so many STDs out there. Better safe than sorry!

There are a percentage of women that do get pregnant while on their period, thankfully the number is low. In 30+ years, I never got pregnant while on my period.
