What was this?!
Question: I have been having troubles with my period for around 8 months now (after going off the pill). I had a period that ended 8th Nov 2007, then not one again until the 9th of January 2008. This january period was fairly normal i thought, less pain and maybe a bit more clotting. This period finished today. (no blood in the morning). At around 7 pm i went to the toilet to pee and felt something 'flop' out of me. It felt pretty big. So, wanting to know what it was, i dug it out. It was a large blob of blood, but it was all bound by a membrane and looked veiny. it also had a cord attached to it which was lumpy all the way along. The large part was curved and had what looked like a stubby tail at one end and at the other, there was a dark spot in the middle. After this came out, I have started bleeding quite a bit and am having some abdominal pain. What was this? Was it a miscarriage? Any similar experiences? What do you think?

I think it sounds very possible to me.
If possible I would go to your Dr's to get yourself checked out.

I haven't been through that, but at the very beginning the baby has a 'tail.' It sounds like it to me. See what the others say, and if so, go to the doctor.
