This is embarassing, but im preg. and worried!?!
Question: went to the restroom, i noticed a long stringy mucous, it was very thick and sticky, looked like something i woulda pulled outa my nose. thats so gross, i know. i appologize. my concern is, is it from an infection of some sort of my vagina? or is it my mucous plug. cuz the thickness and consistency of it was something ive never seen come out of there before. anybody with any experience or knowledge or thoughts as to what this is help me please! im only 14 wks. preg.

it is normal dureing pregantcy to get a discharge like that if it was your plug then it would be blood streaked as well if it was clear or milky and slimy then its fine, if it was green then it maybe an infection but it dont sound serious, f youare worried get your self checked out, hope ive helped and best of luckxxxxxxx

Don't worry! Everything is ok. It happened to me too and my baby came out just fine.
Tell your mom and go to the Gynaecologist, only then you would stop guessing and have a straight answer.
discharge becomes much more think during pregnancy, however, if you have a feeling that it wasn't just that it would not hurt to consult your doctor, he should be informed anyhow. Call him on his emergency number this way you can speak to him
well it may just be your usuall distarge you will have that most of your life. un less it is green or has a storng odor, you shouldnt need to go to the doctor.
It's normal. I had alot of discharge just like that with my first and second. Its normal. My sister is pregnant and she has that too. Dont worry. Just wear a pad, and dont worry if you have to change it. Drink lots of fluids and eat good. Congratulations on the baby!
It's compleatly normal to loose your mucous plug several times during a pregnancy because untill your water breaks it continually rebuilds it's self. I wouldn't worry but i would go see a my Dr. as soon as possible.
