MISCARRIAGE question????!

Question: Ok well unfortunatly i had a miscarriage last month, i was only about 4-5 weeks when this happened. I did not go to the hospital because i let it happen naturally. So now 4 weeks later im due for my period this week, and havent gotten it yet. Ive been having pressure on my uterus for 4 days now. What could this be ovulation? ive never got this pain before. Also i was taking birth control pills even when i had the miscarriage, so i dont know how i got pregnant in the first place. Please help if you have been through this or know about what i might be going through. thank you.

You need to see a doctor as soon as possible. You could have had an incomplete miscarriage, meaning that part of the fetus or placenta is still in your body.

As for getting pregnant while on birth control pills, no form of birth control is perfect. This is especially true if you didn't always take the pill at the same time every day, missed the occasional pill, or were taking antibiotics or another drug that interfered with the pill.

Please see a doctor soon.

Birth control isn't 100% effective....if you were late taking a pill you can get pregnant. You should goto the doctor and make sure you actually had a miscarriage. sometimes when women are pregnant they don't realize it because they can still get their period their first month...

oh, and smoking or drinking can affect your birth control too.

the best thing you can do is see a doctor, they can answer all your questions because it might be something serious
