Sometimes it could be due to stress.
I have twice a month sometimes when I am really stressed out.
It's normal if it happens a few times, so dont worry. But if it's happening every month, perhaps you should go and see a doctor and see what he or she has to say about it.
Just medication would help to solve the problem.
No worries. =)

Maybe you have two vagina's.

yew might have an irregular period
thts wat i have

no it's just heavy go on bc

Depends on your age.
Talk to your OB.

See a doctor.

You may have endometriosis.

no no i had that before. sometimes you even skip periods its all GOOD! dont be paranoid

probaly...check with your doctor.that sounds odd.

go see your doctor. that does not sound good.

are you on birth control pills?? or possibly stressed out??

n. if you are young irregularity is common. If your cycle is consistently that short go to the dr's and they may suggest going on the pill.

i got my period for like 12 daysSUPER heavy when I was really young once...then never again like that. so weird things can happen!

Lots of things could be happening. I would need to know more to tell you more. Have you always been regular? How old are you/how long have you had your period? How heavy are each of the periods?

Honestly, your body is probably just working things out. Wait until next month and see what happens. Unless there's pain or something I wouldn't worry about it. At your next regular check up, mention it. Or, ask your mom.

Normal Period Doesn't Have to Be Regular
Some girls' periods arrive like clockwork. Others get theirs at slightly different times each month. Many girls get regular periods most of the time, but occasionally skip a period or get an extra period during times of pressure or stress. In fact, you may notice that when you go on a trip or have a major change in your schedule your period is late. All of this is perfectly normal.

Your period just pops out when it wants too. Dont worry it always does that. Sometimes it comes really later or sooner.

Antibiotics can cause this due to an increased amount of hormones in the body
If you are stopping the pill this could cause irregular period

Even the natural hormones produced can cause this. Monitor it for another month and see how it goes

Probably hormone fluctuations, call a nursing hotline to be sure. You didn't mention your age, but spotting and double periods happens more often as you approach menopause.

there could be, but i would wait a little more time for it to straighten back out because it could also just be stress. but if it starts a routine of it, i would go get checked.

yeah, go to the doc they can tell you more of that. could be a number of things, including stress. Or could be nothing but a fluke, better see a doc to be sure since yoor concerned.

I got good news for you: You are not pregnant!!! IoI. just kidding! My ex used to have irregular period, so I assume that nothing is wrong with you.

There are several things that could be going on. It is tough to tell without more detail.

Stress can cause a woman's cycle to be off. It can greatly delay a period or cause early periods/spotting.

Ill health can cause the same things. It could be a sign of something more serious. Definitely see a doctor about it.

Also, changes in medications can cause irregular periods.

Hormonal birth control (like the "pill") can be at too high or too low of a dosage and cause irregular periods. A gynecologist can check hormone levels and adjust the dosage accordingly.

Anti-biotics and other medications can severely decrease the effectiveness of the pill (causing pregnancy or other issues).

The Depro shot can cause a whole range of female health problems and irregular periods.

PCOS is a type of diabetes that creates major hormone imbalances. One of my friends went for months without a period then had them every couple weeks. It can lead to serious health problems and is treatable.

There is nothing wrong with you that a bit of time won't fix. Young women's bodies are struggling with the amazing amounts of change. Hormones are not in balance, so don't be surprised about when your period comes and when it doesn't. I would suggest that you carry an emergency supply of period protection all the time. Ones that are in your purse solely for emergencies. Use other protection for regular use. Make sure that when you use part of the emergency stash, you replace it asap, that way you'll always be ready.
peace

My daughter had that problem when she was in her teens. I brought her to the doctor who said that was more common than skipping a period! She went two months with periods every 2 weeks, then she went back to her normal cycle. The doctor had her take some extra iron to keep her blood counts up. If it goes on for too long though, see a doctor...you could have some hormonal thing going on, but chances are it will level off by itself. Good luck to you!
