Question: Im 12 and all my friends at school hav their period but mee
And I'm REALLY scared that it might happen at school
and i dont wanna be embarrassed
I also began discharging like 8 or 10 months ago
is that any sign of starting period??
PLUS my mom and both my sisters started when they were 12 and Im 12, and im turning 13 soon, so im scared!

wear a small pad every day. JUST IN CASE!
i would wear a small pad or panti- liner every day or bring one. just cause u never know when it will happen. don't be worried mine happened @ a swimming pool.
just make sure to wear a pantyliner everyday. if you don't like that idea (to me it feels uncomfortable) then at least carry one around in your backpack just in case.
and i usually don't like sharing this stuff, but when i first got my period (it was at school) i didn't find out until i got home, but the blood was different the first time i got it, and it didn't go through my underwear. kinda weird.
Pantiliners hold very little blood, like a teaspoon. If you are worried, wear a pantiliner in your panties, this will also help with some of the discharge. Carry a regular maxi with wings and a change of underwear in a tote bag to school everyday. You can keep it in your gym bag, locker, or tucked away in your backpack.
