Why is period suddenly so light?!
Question: I've had my period now for almost 3 years. It's always been on the heavy side. I could fill a long night pad in about 1 1/2 hours. My most recent period was very light. It took about 3 hours to fill a light pad. Why was my period so light? And is this permanent. I hope so.

Period act in funny ways it take anbout 4 years before it is on the regular ntohing to worry about side.. the is definatly nothing wrong with you, it is just going through another phase... it could be permanant it might not be but one thing you don't have to worry about is your health... it is normal for it to change for shorter lighter period try going on the birth controll pill this might even make you feel more comfortable suring you rperiod and well it will keep it light!

Its the same with me, but i'm not complaining.
Every few years we go through some changes. Lucky for you, you have gone from heavy to light - thank your lucky stars !
you may be drinking more water or exercising, these are all factors to make your period lighter, so maybe you did one of the 2 or both
Theres probably no problem except hormonal but if your sexually active have a pregnancy test done but it you really worried pay you doctor a visit don't worry to much
