Tampon Sizes?!

Question: Today I used regular sized tampons. I've only started using tampons this week. Today, I leaked through to my underwear a little, and was very uncomfortable. I was pretty much filling the tampon up each time I changed. Later, I bought super tampons and it felt okay. When I changed the tampon about 4 hours later, it was painful and not as full. But now that I think my period is slowing down a bit, I feel REALLY uncomfortable. Should I go down to a lite depending on my period? Or can I just stick with one absorbancy the whole time? Cause what's the deal? It's uncomfortable and feels like it's coming out when I know it's not.

You're supposed to use different absorbencies depending on flow. Use super on heavy days, regular on regular, and lite on light days. I just keep at least one of each absorbencie with me at a time tho lol just in case. Hope I helped ;)

use the regular and wear a thin pad as a back up and change it every 3 hours if you can feel it dropping down when you go to pee pull it out it takes practice and getting used to

If you've just started using tampons, you should alternate them and pads. Changing absorbancies is also a better idea than sticking with one size...

If it feels uncomfortable like its coming out, maybe its not in far enough. my friend has the same problem.

Yes, you should change sizes depending on ur period. If it is slowing down switch to lite, b/c it can be painful when you take it out dry. But it sounds like you do have a heavier period, so stay on supers when it isnt lighter.

if it feels like it is coming out then, you just have to push it in further.
if it is in right it won't even be unfomfortable.
and yes, switch to lower absorbancy as it becomes lighter.

try wearing a pantyliner, so that if it does leak then it won't stain your panties.
and you can also get pantyliners for thongs, if you want.
