Why would my vagina lips swell?!
Question: ok so i am married and have been for a long time so a std is not anythign i am worried about, i am also pregnant so i do go to an ob 1 time a month just dont have an appointment for a while. me and my hubby had sex and it was fine, after we were done we waited a little while and we wanted to have sex again but it was extremely painful for me it felt like i was tearing and my hubby said it felt really tight so i asked him to look down there and he said my vagina lips were very swollen and almost swollen shut together. any ideas on what could cause this or what i could do for this? it has happened before and i thought that my body just didnt produce lubrication so we found a pregnancy safe lubrication and still nothing is better. thanks!

It is possible that you are allergic to the lubricant.
Or it could be because of your pregnancy. Your hormones are all out of wack right now. I remember one of the first things we learned in health class about pregnancy was that the labia can swell and darken. But since you are regularly seeing a doctor, just bring it up on your next visit.
You are allergic to that lubricant, probably. Find something else, or... get creative.
See your doctor about it.
