Answers: If you get a regular cycle of 28 days...does the 28 days start at the begining of your period or when your period ends?

The average menstrual cycle is as fallows:

Day 1) menstration begins
Day 5) menstration ends
Day 14) ovulation occurs (you can't actually feel this happening)
Day 28) menstration begins the next day

it all depends of the person chart it for a few months and that should give you the answer about your own body

when it starts!

You count your cycle as follows:

Period day 1 = Cycle day 1
Period day 2 = Cycle day 2
etc
all the way to the point where you start your period again. The last day before you get your next period is the end of that Cycle.

you start counting form the FIRST day of your period to the first day of your next, a cycle can last anywhere for 26 - 31 days depending on the female

28 day cycles are the textbook form...but women get them 20 - 40 days apart.
To answer your question, you start counting on the first day that your period starts.

i've always gone by the first full day of a period and that seems to be pretty accurate for me to calculate when the next one should be

It starts at the beginning of your period.
