    definitely, if tis your first period (like it sounds) I would say to use a pantyliner, since it is highly unlikely that it will start heavily.
    Plus, if you realize that its started, you can always go to the bathroom to change to a pad, so theres nothing to worry about.
    Yeah. Wear a pantyliner, because it is always to be safe rather than sorry. And bring some pads with you.
    just put a small pantyliner in your underwear to be safe as i know someone who leaked at school how embarrasing! plus it will get you used to wearing something in your underwear if this is your first period
