How to control bikini area smell?!

Question: fishy oder=help!

Answers: fishy oder=help!

Fishy odor is not normal, it indicates an infection. Especially where I've seen you're other answered question, I really suggest you go to a doctor for an examination.
You do not have to be sexually active for bacterial infections, or gardinella(sp) I had that when I was a young teenager, it use to be believed to a an STD years and years back, but 15yrs ago it was already discovered to be caused from good- bad bacteria.
If you have itching, discharge etc- you may have a yeast infection.
I really suggest seeing your doctor. If you're scared of your parents or nervous to even tell them- Just go to see your regular doctor and explain your symptoms, unless its something unusual, they typically can treat it.
Best of luck....

PS. As any doctor will tell you unless you've been treated for a yeast infection before, do not diagnose yourself the first time. After you've had one, then you'll know & can go purchase the over the counter medications. If you've never had one, see a doctor first, you may not even have a yeast infection- You need to know how it effects your body.

eeew... wash more often

wash

A fishy odor is one sign of a bacterial infection.

If you are washing yourself properly and the smell doesn't go away, go to a doctor.

EDIT: Do NOT treat it yourself. You need a doctor to determine if you have an infection, what type, and the best treatment.

you might have a yeast infection i think, i'm only guessing because so many people have asked this question and they get the same answers

that could be a sign of infection like bacterial vaginosis , not meaning to scare you. It also could just mean that you have to wash more, If you are really concerned see your gynecologist.

hopee i could help && good luck!

get like that vagasil jam and just wash more

You definantly have an infection, go to a doctor.

You have a type of yeast infection called bacterial vaginosis. Go to walmart and get some over the counter meds, or go to your doctor.

Also try some L-Acidophilus. It's a natural herbal supplement that you can get almost anywhere for like $8.00 and this will help with the smell. Works magic for yeast infections.

Well, if you have an odor then you may have a bacterial infection. Despite what tv and movies have said, the ladies area shouldn't smell like a fish market, if it does then you have some major problems where you better seek medical attention. It is true, the vagina naturally cleans itself and sometimes gives out an odor (not fishy) but over all it shouldn't have a funk to it....

So good luck and seek attention, you may have yeast infection....

Wash, wash, wash, and wash.
