It hurts when I have sex...?!

Question: I use to LOVE sex. couldn't get enough of it, but recently its been unbearable! It seems as if my vagina is really tight, even my boyfriend commented on how tight I was.
But thats the problem it hurts!! for both of us. I've always had protection and I know I don't have an std, I do pelvic floor exercises (my grandma told me to do them when I was younger because her and her mum had weak bladders when they got older (and after kids) because they didn't know about pfe) What is wrong with me?

You might have vaginismus, which is where the pc muscles tighten. There is more info. on vaginismus.com.

you should go see a doctor and ask him.. i had a similar problem and i found out it was because i have cervical cancer.. not saying that you do also just saying you should go have it looked at..

Well, you may not want to continue if this keeps happening.
I learned that if you have pain while having sex, it may be an STD, but since you've been using a condom, it shouldn't be that. But you should go to a hospital and get it checked. Something bad may be happening.

Have you recently had a baby? Sometimes the doctor sews it up too tight after an episiotomy. It can be fixed. If not, are you having a lot of anxiety? Are you getting excited enough beforehand? Are you mad at your guy, and it's making you tighten up? If you can't figure out what's going on, see your gyno (preferably female) and tell her about your problem.

First of all Relax.........vagina can not become tight , may be becoz of fear and lack of mental preparation before the act, the discharges that lubricate ur vagina r not there, this could b one reason for pain, therefore get emotionally involved in the act
In spite of taking precautions there r chances of infection due to many other reasons, so get urself examined by a Doctor, do not neglect this a Doctor is the right person to examine u and let u know the reason

Sounds like you are a wee bit stressed over this try using a lubricant for the time being, KY gel excellent. If the situation still the same in say a few days of trying the lubricant go and see your GP.
