Question: I've missed my period for a couple of weeks now, I tested the first day, it came out negative. My lover and I had sex and the condom broke; we didn't finish. I quicky washed myself. That was last month. Now I heard that your period might begin to start,because I had it near my period) but you can be pregnant right after. I'm confused. I'm I pregnant?? Even if you wash yourself, the semen still probably got inside you.

I am not an expert but I took a course last semester called psychology of women's bodies. Pregnancy was a pretty hot topic in that class. Something I learned that I had never known before is that there are some women who get their period but who are in fact pregnant. Some can even menstruate months (I think) into the process. This is not extremely common but my thought is that if you have any doubts at all you should take a pregnancy test or see a doctor. It can never be a waste of time to get an answer to something that you have been worrying about...good luck to you.

you can get pregnat while on your period, and you can get pregnant even if the guy doesnt ejaculate because sperm may still be around or on his penis from a previous ejaculation, they live for a certain period of time, not sure how long though. pre ejaculate doesnt have sperm, but again, it can be "around" and still get to you. just take another pregnancy test to know for sure

you may be pregnant, wait another week and retest, washing yourself after won't stop a pregnancy either, and if he didn't come it's also unlikely your pregnant but it can be possible men sometimes have sperm coming out their penis before they actually come.
