first, you and your dr should talk about what is best for you. only you two can come up with what is best.
i have been on ortho tricyclen lo and made me moody. i been on loestrin 24 and gave him insomnia. i am on yaz now and seems to be good. no problems on it.
the patch is not good. too many problems w/ it. but again, only you and your dr can come up w/ what is right for you.
Neither. Yaz has a laundry list of side effects, and Ortho Evra's maker has a class-action law suit pending due to patch-related deaths & permanent disabilities.
Try a low dose hormone such as LoEstrin or something similar. You'll be better off. Or if you want to deal with contraception only occasionally, consider the Nuva Ring. Its as effective as the pill (better, actually) but you only think about it once a month.
I have been on both. yaz for me keeps away bloating before my period. most of the stuff they say in the commercial and on the box is true. for me ortho evra made me brake out where ever i put it because i used it then stopped using it then started again. i suggest yaz.
You need to talk to your Dr. But when it really comes down to it, picking a birth control pill is a trial & error process. You just have to see what works for you. Its diffrent for everybody.
