What is a Tamon?!

Question: i know a tampon is something for your period but what is the difference between a tampon and a pad and which is better

Answers: i know a tampon is something for your period but what is the difference between a tampon and a pad and which is better

A tampon is basically a cotton plug that you insert inside your vaginal canal. It absorbs all fluids, so you feel nothing.

A pad is like the absorbent core of a diaper. You stick it to the crotch of your underwear. It absorbs fluid after it leaves your body, so you still feel like you have your period.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Pads can leak, but are entirely safe and usually comfortable. Tampons are discrete, you can swim and wear any underwear you want, and you feel nothing, but they also run the risk of Toxic Shock.

tampon goes up ur hole pad dosent !

Ask your mother! (seriously)

a tampon is a small stick lyk thing that u put inside your vagina and a pad is a lyk a long sticker that u put on ur underwear
i recommed a pad if ur just starting

well a tampon is something that you put inside your vagina to absorb the blood and a pad is something you wear on your underwear to catch the blood. Tampons are more risky but are a lot more comfortable. If you are beginner go with the pad first.

where is your mother? and look on reliable websites.....not yahoo answers

A pad is an absorbent protectant that you stick in your panties. Kinda like how a baby wears a diaper, except they are way smaller. A tampon is actually inserted into your vagina and does the same thing. And as for which is better. It's just your personal preference. Usually tampons are better for people that are very active or swim alot. But just try both and you'll figure which one is for you.

Please look each word up in www.dictionary.com if you want to know a more mature answer...that doesn't have the word "lyk" in it..

a tampon is a bunch of compressed toilet paper that you stick up your vagiNa.
a pad is kinda like a diaper thing except it's not as big and doesnt go around your whole waist.
Tampons are a lot more comfortable, but theyre harder to use and can be more dangerous.
Pads are easier and better for beginners.

a tampon is not "dangerous" if youre smart..
.a tampon is like a toliet paper sponge thats very absorbent. the tampon is put up your vagina to stop the flow of blood. tampons are ideal for sports and everyday life because you have a much much better chance for no leaking. a pad is like a toliet paper sponge that has a sitcky side that you stick to your underwear and youre flow absorbs into it..but pads can move and it is much much easier to leak. tampons are only dangerous if you keep them in when youre period is over and if you have one thats too big for youre flow.

I got my period when I was 15 and I used pads for the 1st month and thats it. They're too big and bulky nd feel like a diaper, and are not even an option if you wear thongs. Tampons are definately the way to go. Although for night time you should wear a pad.

A tampon is dangerous but a pad is safer.
