Can my birth control be ruined?!
Question: I'm currently taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, I left my two refills in my car and the temperature has been very cold lately, do you think those two months of un-used birth control is ruined, I brought it in my house, but now I'm worried that the cold weather ruined it....What should I do? I don't have any other back ups those were my only two refills.

As long as they did not get moist they should be okay. I think moisture and heat are the two things that ruin pills. Call your gyn or pharmacist and ask to be sure though!
If they were in sealed packs then they are safe to use.But it would not hurt to ring g.p for renewal if you are that worried.
I think that it would be more affected if it was in the hot weather. I would be more worried if i left it in the car during a hot summer.
If you are worried - just keep using it until you are able to get a new script
