Im feeling very lightheaded today amd im on my period?!

Question: Im on my period and I have cramps and all that good stuff, but Im also very lightheaded. Ive never experienced lightheadedness during my period before. Im taking midol, but the lightheadedness started before I took some. Its getting worse, like I feel like Im going to faint at some points. I had surgery about 2 months ago for treating my endometriosis, and my periods have been different since then, I dont know if thats important to know.
Could this even be related to my perioud? What can I do?

If you have a history of endometriosis then the lightheadedness can be associated with your period. Since you have had treatment for it recently my advice is to call and get an appointment to see your doctor.

Usually feeling faint and light headed can be associated with blood loss and anemia. After your surgery to correct your problem you are going to want him to take a look and see what is going on inside with your period.

Good Luck

eat!

Try eating, you might just not have enough nutrient in your system right now and with the loss of nutrient light-headedness ca happen. Eat (orange juice is good), lie down and just take it easy until you feel better.

ew

You are likely lacking iron, eat some spinach, nuts and avocados and drink lots of water.

You need IRON in your system. Right now you're probably a little anemic because of your bleeding....eat some fresh spinach or take an iron supplement asap.

weird stuff can happen while on your period. its no fun.

eat something!

Oh I get dizziness too! I always lay down and drink tea and eat something, like an apple or something healthy! Don't eat chocolate either.
