I'm 10 weeks, having lower mid back pain. How to relieve the pain?!

Question: Pain just started 3 days back, around in the middle of lower back, right above the hips. I guess its gonna continue until the end of the pregnancy. It hurts when I wake up.
What should I do to relieve the pain?

Couple remedies to offer relief. First, a worn out tennis ball, and have somebody roll it and press over the areas of the back which ache. Have a nice hot bath- well, more than warm but not soup, deep enough to float in a while. Or make a trip to a pool if you can. When you go to bed to sleep, put a pillow between your legs to separate your knees and keep the usual separation between them. Some ladies actually like the body pillows they sell for this. It will pay off as the pregnancy progresses as well, and the weight in your abdomen makes you feel like a beached whale. And a maternity belt is also a help. You can get one at a maternity shope, or sometime ToysRUs sell them. It's a big elastic belt that fits under the bump to lift it up, and will also add some support to you back muscles. You can wear it 24/7 if you need to, won't hurt a thing. If you have been wearing heels, stop. You need to be barefoot or in flats now, until after baby is born. And finally, check your posture. If you have adopted the typical mom to be posture, with the shoulders back and the hips shoved forward, you need to work on that. Stand against a wall or sit in a chair with a high straight back, and remind yourself to maintain the straight spine posture, with the hips rotated more to the rear. Poor posture will absolutely kill your lower back in a few months otherwise. Good luck, and hope you get some relief.

You can always see a cryopractor to probaly see if they could relieve your back problems ....well cause they are of course spine doctors.

get out walking..brisk walking, stretch every morning ,holding the stretch for a count of 30....get on all fours like a cat and arch back and hold this one really works for instant relieve

back rubs and Tylenol, try wearing a back brace till you get to big then a belly support, you can get one at motherhood maternity stores for about 30 dollars and they are great.

I would not see a chiropractor while pregnant... that could be dangerous to the baby if the person doesn't know what he/she is doing. I would use a heating pad... I was addicted to those things while pregnant with my 3 kids. Also pay attention to the position you sleep in. Try to sleep on your side with a pillow between your legs......Advil works too! Good luck

Go see a chiropractor. The first time it will hurt, then 5 minutes later it will feel amazing.
