I'm worried about my breasts but I don't know how to tell my mum someone!

Question: I've asked some questions recently about breast buds and things trying to find out a little more. I'm 11 is it possible for me to get breast cancer? or is it more simple and just puberity?

At your age probably not breast cancer but you could. I feel really sorry for you. I had the same problem I couldn't go to my mom becasue well I didn't have the guts. I researched it and if I had a question I would ask my friends or one of my teachers. Go to this website- www.beinggirl.com There is a nurse or doctor named Iris. On the bar on the left side you can go to ask Iris and she will answer any questions you may have. Again I feel so bad for you. I have some guts now but it takes time to ask parents about that kind of stuff. I really hope this helps! If you need anything else just yell!

tell us whats wrong with them, we will help

i think the duo are growing normally.

are they hurting, thats just growth mine hurted a lot when they were growing no worries

okay, i looked at your other questions, it's prob just puberty. you should talk to your mom tho dear, mum's advice is always best! there isn't one question in the world i couldn't ask her.

a lot of things are possible however it is extremly unlikely that you have cancer!
when i was developing i found my chest was really sore and lumpy. to be honest im still lumpy now (im 23) i went to the dr because i was worried and i was told its completely normal to have lumpy tissue, some people do and some dont.
if you are worried speak to your mum, shes been through it all before and she will understand.
once you are fully developed it will be much easier for you as you will come to regognise what is and is not normal for your breasts. problem when you are growing is they change all the time.
good luck.

stay clam it is always good to ask your mom but when i was 12 i had the same problem and i asked my mom and she said that if it is in them in the middle it is just where you milk for you baby is there and that you are born with all you milk and eggs so that was it is but when you raise your arm and there is a lump on the side of your breasts then might have a problem if you feel the lump on the side ask you mom about it because i may be breasts cancer.

Your breasts start growing when you begin puberty. Puberty is the name for the time when your body goes through changes and you begin to go from being a child to an adult. During puberty the hormone levels in your body change and this causes your breasts to develop and your menstrual periods to start. Heredity (the way certain characteristics are passed down from generation to generation) and nutrition determine when you are going to begin puberty and develop breasts. Most girls' breasts begin growing when they are about 10 or 11 years old, but some girls may start developing breasts earlier or later than this age.
It takes three to five years from the time your breasts start growing until they reach their full size. The age when you start to develop does not have an effect on the final size of your breasts. For example, if you develop earlier than most girls, this doesn't mean that you will have bigger breasts than most girls.
If you find it difficult in talking to your mum, how about a sister, aunt or a close friend.

your Mum loves you, that's what she is there for, to help you with anything that's what unconditional love is, sit down and have a chat with her she will be really happy that you went to her for her advice. good luck Girl don't be worried

i dont know if its capable to get breat cancer that young but honestly im 15 and a little bit up from the nipple there are hard bits, thats quite big i have it on both but it takes ages for breast to just be like normal. the other one im sure will do it too. they will even out. if you are totally in doubt please ask your mum, thats what mums are there for.. they are girly and prob have wondered and maybe even given advice before on it.

it's probably just them growing but still ask your mom. If she doesn't answer you when you next go to the doctor ask your doctor!

ask to see the doc

this is normal, its all due to growing, when us as women get pains in the breast area, boys have growing pains in there legs.
im glad you told your mum.also if you have started your period, the pains can be due to this aswell its all the hormones changing in your body.
yes you are growing into a young lady.
dont worry.
