You definately should go see your doctor, and she/he can conduct a simple blood/urine test to determine any deficiencies..
Since your a vegan it would also be a good idea to discuss and plan something with a dietician or nutritiounist so you can ensure you stay healthy and eat foods that you may be missing out from not eating meats.
Good luck with it all :D
I guess so, just get a blood test
My doctor gave me ablood test that tested specifically for B12 deficiency and then put me on a really high dose of B12, even though I already took a vitamin pill, daily. You can be difficient in some things even with a muli-vitamin. Yes, definately ask your doctor to help you out!!
I wish I knew. I have asked my Dr. repeatedly to check for deficiencies and he tells me there are no tests, which I know is BS.
Why do you think you have a B def.? Do you take other supplements, like Vit. A? Overdoses of vitamins and minerals can cause serious health issues. Too much Vitamin A can cause many different symptoms, and continued use can lead to serious harm or even death. There are others which if you have too much, can also cause serious health issues.
