Kind of embarassing.. Only open if you're here to answer, not insult.?!

Question: Ok, well, I've seen all these questions and answers about lactation and such.. And I'm not sure if this it normal or not, but I don't have holes in my nipples (at least what I can see). I'm 13, and my breasts are D sized.. I've matured very quickly mentally and physically, and I just don't know if I'm supposed to have a hole.. or.. see it.. or what?

You actually have many tiny duct openings in the nipples of your breast but no, you won't see them...they are too tiny.

Don't worry, I'm sure you are perfectly normal.

Even when you one day are lactating you can't see the actual opening (i never could anyway) but you will see tiny droplets of milk where they are.

No, since you're not lactating you won't see any hole. No worries.

No you are not supposed to have holes. Breasts are glands and they secrete through very small openings that you cannot see within the nippples that for now have no reason to secrete. When you are older and have kids they will work fine.

you can't see the hole in your nipples, and it doesn't mean that is not there, do not worry, it is normal

Nope, no hole - you're normal!

You are perfectly normal and you should not worry. Some day when you have a baby and are actually lactating you will see the openings for the milk to pass through.

Good Luck

Nope you're not suppose to have a hole, don't worry you are fine :) Don't worry about asking embarrassing questions, most of us love to help!!

its normal

sorry. I have amended my comment. One thing which might help that I DO know about is that the lymphatic system moves fluids around the body. Is your bra too tight? Restriction of fluid movement is an issue with large breasted women.

Solution? uh . . can't go braless because gravity ... you know. Maybe you are a little embarrassed by the male attention Dcups bring so you are tieing them down? That's bad, restricts fluid movement within the body, toxins accumulate in fat cells and it's hard to get them out.

So maybe a halter top? Don't mind the guys, ignore them. Just smile. Health first.

You won't see any holes. There are a bunch of them too.

Hi chelsea,
well i have read your message, and it sounds to me as if you are not lactating.have you spoken to your mum,im sure if you asked her to look at the nipples as you are concerned she would.
As i have said previously i have 3 sons and i can see where you are coming from if you do not want to approach her.The pain you are having seems to be due to your body changing and hormones developing,As you said you have matured quickly, but you will still have growing pains.
Breasts tend to become sore before periods aswell.is this when they hurt more ?
Have you thought off ringing your gp and asking if you can see a nurse at the surgery just to put your mind at rest.
i hope this helps you.
