Pain in the left breast?Why?!
Question: i have a burning pain in my left breast every time i shift positions.when i get up after lying in bed or when i turn to the side. any ideas of what it could be would be appreciated. i am 47years old.

Do you self check your breast? You should; anything is possible. What you should do is make an appointment with your obgyn, and check it out. Your obgyn will suggest you get a mammogram because you are at that age.

There are a number of possibilities for this pain such as irritation of the nerve in that area (giving an example only) but the only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.
