have you changed any habits lately? are you stressed? did you lose or gain any weight?

a lot of things will determine whether you get your period- if you body is under a lot of stress or going through some major changes you will stop having your period because your body does not want you to be pregnant during these times

if nothing has changed you may want to make an appt with your doc to get checked out and make sure every thing is ok

Are you 58?

You might have PCOS- Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. These are tiny cysts on your ovaries which effect your menstral cycle as well as the level of testosterone in your body. A simple blood test and diagnose this problem. I would suggest talking to your doctor.

Yea it's normal to have irregular periods from time to time and not be pregnant. Are you in your teens still or underweight? Because when I was younger, before I took BC, I didn't have a period every month... or for even 2 or 3 months. It's normal, so don't trip. But if you are worried, go to a doc

It's absolutely possible. Your lucky that you're usually regular
{I never was}. Many things can cause irregularity, like stress, anxiety, dieting, change of habits, not enough sleep, malnutrition, to name a few. It's probably nothing to worry about. take care

You didn't give your age so I am not sure if you are young and would have an irregular cycle for possibly the first year or two or if you have over 40 and possibly entering menopause. Women's bodies are highly subjective to stress, changes in diet, or recent illness. You should consider birth control pills because it would regulate your cycle and prevent you from having the worry of "Am I pregnant?" when you are a few days late.

Missing menstruation could also be caused by stress. You may be experiencing unusual stress -- mental, physical, emotional, etc. If you feel any discomfort or prolonged irregularity (2 months no period), you should consult a doctor.
